Iowa Memorial Union, 3rd Floor Conference Room TBA. 4pm – 5:30pm. A conversation about Iowa meatpacking workers’ historical and contemporary struggles to secure safe workplaces, and how current state and national politics are influencing this issue. Panelists will include Iowa meatpacking workers, Labor Center oral historian John McKerley, and UI faculty TBA.
