Business Model Competition (BMC)

The Business Model Competition (BMC) is based on the methodology of the Business Model Canvas and requires that companies tell their story beginning from the idea stage, including pivots along the way. The customer-centered focus of the Business Model Canvas enables startups to validate their business model and pivot where necessary to optimize results. Questions participants will answer include: What were the assumptions in your original business idea? How did you test them? How did you respond to those tests? What has been the result? $20,000 in cash prizes is up for grabs! This competition is hosted by the University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC).
