Community and Economic Development

enhancing cities, counties, and regions

Innovative solutions to improve community and economic development are highly sought after by rural as well as urban communities. With no one-size-fits-all answers to improve quality of life, problem-solving is highly individual, time-consuming, and costly.

Our office works with a variety of organizations across the state on community-based activities meant to grow and enhance cities, counties, and regions to benefit current and future residents. Community and economic development activities leverage public and private resources to advance community goals and values. Projects include: economic diversity, built environment, social equality, civic engagement, workforce. We pair organizations with the right classes, interdisciplinary teams, and independent study projects to jointly define problems and create solutions.
