Andrea Tracy

Associate Professor, Department of Psychology, Grinnell College.

Dr. Tracy's research has focused on environmental and physiological determinants of food choice and food intake, as well as the effect of obesity and high-fat diet consumption on learning and motivational processes.  She has taught courses in the Psychology of Food and Eating at the University of Cincinnati and Grinnell College, which includes supervising student-led research projects in community venues, such as the Grinnell College Laboratory Preschool. She received her B.A. in Psychology from Grinnell College, her M.S. in Experimental Psychology and Ph.D. in Psychology and Neuroscience from Purdue University, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Cincinnati’s Obesity Research Center (now Metabolic Research Institute).
